Rebecca's abstract acrylic and mixed media paintings are recognizable by appealing colors, rich texture, and an energetic and positive presence. They possess great multidimensionality, the result of applying many thick yet fluid layers of paint.
Rebecca enjoyed early success as a sculptor/painter of clay miniatures which were sold through gift shops across the US. She enjoyed a fulfilling freelance career as a graphic designer, art director and illustrator. Disney, Toyota and Electronic Arts were among her clients.
Then she witnessed her young kids' pure joy in art-making. The messy, tactile experience reignited her passion for creating one-of-a-kind pieces of art. Since 2008, Rebecca's works have been featured in both large and intimate group shows around California. She lives in Burlingame, California, a short distance from San Francisco.
Rebecca is past-president of the California Peninsula Chapter of Women's Caucus for Art (2017 – 2019).
