CTM Series

Color. Texture. Movement. To begin a painting, I approach a blank panel with no plan in mind other than to move with confidence. These first marks set the tone for the piece and create a challenging puzzle. Moving forward is a combination of "seeing" and intuition, exploring color and texture, rhythm and balance. I build layers, some of which may be sanded down, creating new details that will become part of the overall composition.
